We all have come a long way
Way too long a way
I must say
Our creature comforts
Got multiplied a zillion times!
We read about the yester-era Kings & Administrators
And appear bewildered!
We discuss in history classes
In coffee houses and pubs
Virtual discussion forums…
‘Oh! How brute & ruthless & heartless were they!’
We all nod our heads
Some of us so hard
That our heads might even fall off with the
Vigorous nodding!
So? What now?
Are we able to do go against the wrong doers?
Should we take the risk to unnecessarily invite trouble towards ourselves?
We all know about all the injustice going on around us…
We all know & sympathize too
With the Authorities – poor things don’t have absolute power after all!
One day we will also become a history
& our future generations too
Will be as bewildered..as we are now!
In the meanwhile folks…
Let’s wait for divine intervention
After all HE has promised in one of the religious texts
Followed by the Hindus
(Whispers: pssst…..Lets for a while forget about different religions
Its convenient that way you see)
That HE will surely descend
To put an end to all the
Billions of blue blistering barnacles
Worry Not!
